HEJ Playtest Meetup 2026/08

We're launching a brand new event: HEJ Playtest!

This is a place where game developers can get live feedback on their games, brainstorm with fellow creators, and experiment with new ideas.

https://forms.gle/b396D8sbthuWqZ9WA — Fill out this form if you'd like to have your game concept, prototype, or demo playtested by a small audience, and if you're also happy to provide constructive feedback on other developers' games.

This is an in-person event only and will not be streamed.

Anyone is welcome to apply as long as you:

can bring a playable build or editor version of your game, are open to honest, constructive feedback, and are willing to test other participants' games.

You'll need to bring the hardware required to run your game, as we only have a very limited number of PCs and laptops available to lend. If your game has audio, we also strongly recommend bringing headphones.

Before the event, you'll receive another questionnaire asking about the current state of your game. This information will be printed and displayed next to your game during the event. Completing this questionnaire is required to participate.

Tentative schedule:

7:00–7:20 PM – Setup 7:20–7:30 PM – Lightning introductions (1 minute per game) 7:30–10:00 PM – Playtesting session 10:00 PM onwards – Cleanup
