New PS2 games playable!

After spending the past weekend at street market of Lille in France, I found some of my favourite PS2 games for sale and couldn't miss the opportunity to bring them back to SideQuest. Let me introduce you to five new gems you can now play at our venue.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction

One of my all time favourite PS2 games, an open world set in North Korea where you play as one of three mercenaries working for different factions, such as the Chinese, the South Koreans, the Allies or the Russian Mafia. The last one provides you with access to a black market where you can find all sorts of fun toys to wreak havoc. Will you be able to capture all 52 targets from the deck of cards?

If you liked any of the Just Cause games, that might be your jam!

Total Overdose

What if Max Payne was Mexican and could roam freely like in GTA? It would probably result in Total Overdose. The game is far from perfect, but includes mechanics we love, such as slow-mo shooting or driving around in stolen cars, in an unhinged Mexico setting.

Downhill Domination

Biking down a hill at full speed is fun. Add to this the ability to do crazy tricks and you increase the fun. And now add to this the ability to throw objects and smack the other riders, and you get the really fun game Downhill Domination. And you can make it even more fun by challenging a friend in split screen!

XIII

The video game adaptation of the XIII comics, it brings a unique style to a fun to play FPS. If you heard or played the recent remake, give the original one a try, it's way better than the one that came out recently. You can also challenge a friend in a fun split screen deathmatch with a similar feel to Goldeneye 64.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

My favourite game of one of my favourite franchises, Chaos Theory is THE best Splinter Cell game. After already two successful instalments, the third one brought new mechanics (the knife!) and great level design that allows more open ended paths to finish them. Plus, there's a 2 player split screen co-op!
