Video Games

We are a game bar – and video games have a dear place in our hearts. At SideQuest you'll find dedicated game stations, a curated library of titles, and a genuine love for the medium.

You won't find mainstream games like the latest FIFA, Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto (except on special occasions). Instead, we want our patrons to discover new and fun titles by local and indie developers, as well as retro titles from over two decades ago.

Game Stations

We have two game stations available for free use while you're at the bar. Ask the staff for controllers, we've got a mix of colours to pick from, and take a seat in front of one of our TVs.

The stations are set up for drop-in play – no booking required, just take a seat if one is free. On busier evenings, we try to keep sessions to a reasonable length so everyone gets a turn. If you want to guarantee a spot, book it online!

What's on the Stations

Our game library is curated with a number of Hungarian made games, international indie titles and retro games.

Indie Game Showcase

SideQuest has always been a home for the local game development community. We regularly feature games made by independent developers – you can play them on our stations and learn more about the people behind them.

If you're a developer and would like your game featured at SideQuest, get in touch with us at [email protected].

Events

We host regular gaming events – tournaments, launch nights, developer meetups and more. Check the events calendar to see what's coming up.
